The Crazy Pie Just a while ago I made the mistake of calling a pie crazy. Immediately people started saying things like: "The pie is no crazier than your." Or "The pie is not crazy, its you." The cook was especially defensive for her pie. That little experience made me think. One Thing About Name Calling One thing that people do when they are a little mad at something they call it a name. One thing that is a little silly is that when you call a thing a bad name hardly anyone agrees with you, they know that you're just a little mad was why you did it. One thing that is a little annoying is that when you call other people bad names, there are a few who may agree with you. One thing that is true, is that you are far better than any thing, if you a human being you are made in the image of God, and made by God, who never makes mistakes. One thing that is similar between all makers is that they are proud of what they have made, and they don't like anyone to call it a bad name.(God is proud of you and doesn't like it when others call you a bad name.) One thing you never do is call others bad names. One thing that you should not do is let what others say about you affect you. And as always: One thing you should do is think a while about what you have just read here on the SunShining blog. Verses About God being our maker: Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. Proverbs 17:5 Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished. Proverbs 22:2 The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all. One thing you should know is that you are more valuable than many sparrows. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31

For the last few weeks I have been reading through the book of job. I am not done with it yet, but this morning I read the first chapter of psalm. I reall like that psalm. A few years ago i wrote a book on the book of psalm(Not yet published.) Every time I read a chapter from psalm I get somthing differnt from it. Below are 2 pieces of writing on Psalm 1. One of the writings I did today, the other I did a few years ago.
Psalm 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. I highly recommen that you visit my Bible website. Where you can read the whole Bible (KJV). And where you can find lots of notes by me, and I am constantly adding more notes. Currently adding notes to the book of Psalm and Job.
sunbible.000webhostapp.com/ You may have heard of the Gingerbread man, but have you ever heard of the Gingerbread monster. I came up with the idea for this story on my own, though I was not the first to come up with this idea. And because I want all my to give glory to God I tried to give this story a Christian twist. I hope you enjoy the story. The Gingerbread Monster - Christian Version There once lived a very old woman. When she was a little girl her mother told her never to make a gingerbread monster. But one day she was tempted to build a gingerbread monster. She gave into the temptation. As she was about to stick it in the oven it jumped up and started chasing her. She screamed and started running away. The Gingerbread monster laughed and said "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't get away from me I am the Gingerbread monster." Out the door ran the woman. Out the door ran the Gingerbread monster. "Help" yelled the woman. Her husband heard her and came running to help her. "Don't touch my wife", yelled the man. "I will eat her then I'll eat you," laughed the Gingerbread monster, "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't get away from me. I am the Gingerbread monster." Away ran the old man with his old wife. "Is that your cow," asked the Gingerbread monster, "I'll eat it too". "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't get away from me. I am the Gingerbread monster." Laughed the Gingerbread monster again. And away ran the cow. Away ran the man. Away ran the woman. "Is that your pig," asked the Gingerbread monster, "I'll eat it too". "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't get away from me. I am the Gingerbread monster." Laughed the Gingerbread monster again. And away ran the pig. Away ran the cow. Away ran the man. Away ran the woman. They ran and ran. Finally they came to the whitemud river, also known as the river of death. Across the river lived a great king. They called to him for help. The great king quickly sent his son across the river with a boat. They immediately jumped on. And quickly got to safety. The Gingerbread monster saw what happened and was enraged. Even today he continues to stalk up and down the river. He tries to eat anyone who comes near the river. But all those who call upon the great king get saved. The moral of the story: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 Is sin ruining your life?
Have you called upon the name of the Lord yet? God loves you, and wants to save you. please comment if you need help. "Good people go to hell, Bad people go to heaven."
Why is that? Most people who consider themselves good are too proud to repent of their sins. The Bible says all have sinned(Romans 3:23), there is no such thing as a good person hell. I am not really a professional on how to get to heaven. Because only God knows how to get to heaven. But I can tell you a few things about how to get to heaven. First I want to ask you why you want to get to heaven. Why do you want to go to heaven? Is it because you love God? Because let me tell you something, if you don't love God you ain't going to want to spend eternity with him. Heaven is where God is. Hell is where God is not. If you think you are such a good person and that you don't need God in this present life. And indeed if you spend your entire life without spending any time with God. Then what makes you think that you would want to spend any time with God, in eternity. "O, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God." - Cory Asbury God loves you with an overwhelming never-ending love. He loves you no matter who you are, no matter what you have done. You may be the worst of sinners but still, God loves you. And he desires that same love from you. God doesn't force you to love him. And he certainly doesn't force you to spend eternity with him. The choice is up to you. If you love God, you are going to want to try and please him. And you would also want to spend an eternity with God. "Good people go to hell, Bad people go to heaven." Why is that? If the above has not answered your question yet, maybe this verse will help. "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little." Luke 7:47 To read this verse in context click here: https://lifeofjesus.000webhostapp.com/Luke.html ------ I have collected all the verses in the Bible on how to get to heaven and put them on my website: https://howtogettoheaven.000webhostapp.com I entered the following story into a short story contest. It did not win the contest, but it did make me think about somthing. Did you know that you never lose when you use your writing skills or what everskills you have for the glory of God. Hope you enjoy the story. It is mostly fictional based on real facts, and I use real names. Also happy valentines day.-God loves you! Sam is the youngest boy of the 3 oldest boys in the Renfroe family. He has 2 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters. Sam is 13 years old, he has a big mouth, a short temper, and no patience. This is the story of how Sam learned to have patience. I only tell you this story because I hope it will help you learn to be patient. Our story starts in the fall of 2018. Sam and his family got back to Canada after spending a busy summer in Texas. They had someone taking care of their animals for the summer and soon got all the animals back. They had 3 cows, some goats, 3 ducks, a bunch of chickens, and a few cats that they had left on their farm all summer. Sam quickly became obsessed with the chickens. He built some bigger nicer warmer pens for them. One of the Renfroe's neighbors were moving, and so for some reason, they gave their old dog to the Renfroes. Now the Renfroes have always had bad luck with dogs, and this time was no different. The Renfroes were told that this dog was not a chicken killer, but for some reason as soon as they got the dog they started losing chickens. At first, they did not think that is was that dumb dog, and so they lost more chickens. Finally big brother Nonresistant saw the dog walking away with a dead chicken. Once the Renfroes found out that the dog was the culprit, Sam fixed something up so the dog could not get the chickens anymore. Mom was mad that they had lost so many chickens. They decided to buy a few more chickens, and also they had a neighbor incubate some for them. Now here is where the story gets interesting. Sam decided to buy some incubators. He had his older brother Nonresistant help him buy some incubators from Amazon. At checkout, there were a few shipping options. We could have selected the 2-day shipping option, but the free shipping option was cheaper. The incubators, expected in about 1 week, were going to take a while to come in. By the 2nd day, Sam was already wishing his older brother would have selected the faster shipping method. It turns out there was a postal strike, so it wouldn't have made a difference. The package finally came in after about 3 weeks. By now Sam should have learned that good things take time and that good things come to those who wait. But did he learn patience yet, you'll have to keep reading to find out. Almost immediately Sam started putting eggs in the incubator. For the next several day's Sam continued putting eggs in the incubator, and different types of eggs. Some were quail eggs, which hatch in 18 days, others were chicken eggs, which hatch in 21 days. Now, this incubator of Sams was pretty modern. It had a build in thermostat and humidity controller. It also had a little screen that showed how many days the incubator had been plugged in. Even with the no patience that Sam had, he did manage to wait 18 days for the first quail to hatch. But then day 21 came and went. Sam, because he had no patience, started to take the eggs out and crack them. A few of the eggs had live chicks, so he stopped. Hopefully, Sam has enough patience to wait for the rest of the eggs to hatch. When I started this story I told you that this was the story of how Sam learned patience. But I don't know if he did yet. He is a difficult child. I hope though that this story has taught you to be a little more patient. Patience is a good thing to have. We not only need it when we are waiting for things, but we also need patience with our fellow man, and with God. As Sam learned with the incubators good things come to those who wait. As we have seen in the last part of the story, impatience can prevent good things from happening. Following is a collection of verses from the Bible on patience: Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 1 Thessalonians 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. 1 Timothy 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous. 2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient. James 5:7-8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Hebrews 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
