Write something you would read - for writers
I read that phrase in a book I read once. That little advice "Write something you would want to read". Has been something that I have thought a lot about over the last few years. And it has sometimes kind of discourage me from writing. Because a lot of the time I feel as if my writing is not something I would want to read. Like this piece for example. I am enjoying writing it. I just don't if I would enjoy reading it. Do you ever get discouraged with your writing? I just want to encourage you. If God put a message on your heart don't be afraid to share it. What would make this something I would what to read. And some tips for writing.

For writers who need to make money… I have recently heard that it can take 3 years to start making money from your writing. What do you do in the meantime is the question. I have been writing for the last 4 years and I have not made anything from my writing. Do I see the last 4 years as a waste? No. I have learned a lot from the last 4 years. And thankfully I have not needed to make any money from my writing(because I have had other jobs.). But I sure hope that I can start making money for my writing soon. A few of my tips for young writers: Have patience, keep writing, and keep working on making your writing better. Have a source of income besides writing, preferably something that does not keep you from your writing. I also recommend reading lots of good books. Like I said in the first tip have patience, keeping on praying to God, waiting on Him and trusting Him. A few tips I have heard from others: You need to build yourself a platform(I have not been very good at this). You need to build up your audience (I don't think I have one yet).
