The SunShining (part 3) God is always Good

I was just recently thinking about the sun and its characteristics. So far in this series I have mentioned two. The sun always shines, and it never moves. I just thought of another one. The sun is always hot.
This new characteristic of the sun made me think of one more characteristic of God. He is always good.
And here is another great quote:
"If you can believe that the sun is always hot, even when you cannot feel it; then surely you can believe that God is always good, even when you do not see it."

The sun is shining. The sun always shines. But does that mean it is always light? No! Because the sun moves and things block its light.
It would be nice if life was always great for Christians. But even with God always by our side, life can be difficult. Satan loves to throw hardship at Christians. But through thick and thin God is always with us. Never does God forsake you!

The SunShining (part 2) God does not move

In the first part I made the mistake of saying that the sun moves. But the sun does not move. Why then can we not always see it? It is because the earth moves.
Likewise also God does not move. He stays in one position so that all may come to Him. He only reaches out his hands to help people. So if you are by the side of God you do not have to fear that Heâ€™ll run away from you. The only thing that you need to be afraid of is that youâ€™ll run away from God.

Do Somthing and Enjoment; 2 posts about being Good

Do SomethingDoing nice things takes action.

As Christians we should be known for doing good things.

But we cannot do anything good, if we do nothing at all.

I encourage you to take some time to day to do some good.

I encourage you to ask God help you be good.
EnjoymentPeople tend to enjoy doing what they do not have to do. It is because the reason they are doing it is not because they have to, but because they want to and enjoy doing it.

As Christians we should do good. But we should not turn it into a chore. We should enjoy being good.

You do not have to be a Christian. But I am sure you enjoy being one. And if you enjoy being a Christian I am sure you enjoy doing good.
